GWL 2018-2019 Boosterthon Raises Over $30,000 
GWL SCA Organizes Successful Fun Run Fundraiser!

Parents! This year’s main fundraiser for the Glenwood Landing School SCA was the Fun Run! It’s a two-week program that kicked off with a Pep Rally on October 1st. Families gathered pledges for every lap the students ran (30-35 laps), and we celebrated at the Fun Run on October 11th. With our big goal of raising $20,000 for Enrichment Programs we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it easier, more profitable, and more fun. Mrs. Finder challenged the students to raise $20,000 and said that she would dress as a Viking if they met the goal!

Students also experienced an amazing character theme, MINDSPARK MYSTERY LAB through online videos! Boosterthon’s most exciting theme yet combines S.T.E.A.M skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) with character-building. While they're teaming up with the MindSpark Kids to solve mysteries, our students will learn five 21st-century character traits that will help strengthen themselves and our world.

We were able to raise over $30,000. On Friday, October 18th, Mrs. Finder dressed as a Viking! Donations will go toward enrichment programs and to the entire two-week experience. All families were invited to come out and cheer on our students at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!
