Class of 2017 Includes First Cohort of International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidates
North Shore High School’s 2017 graduating class includes the first cohort of International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidates. These 35 students made a commitment, for their junior and senior years, to take six rigorous IB courses, write a 4,000-word research paper, engage in various creative, physical and community service activities, and think about their own thinking in the Theory of Knowledge course. These students worked hard to fulfill these requirements while maintaining their other interests and extra-curricular activities. They have set the program on a positive path, and we wish them much success in their post high school endeavors.
