Thank You For Attending The North Shore Community Fair

On behalf of the North Shore School District Legislative Action Committee (LAC), thank you for participating in our North Shore Community Fair at the Gold Coast Library.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, resources, and expertise each of you brought to the event. By staffing tables, sharing information, answering questions, and connecting directly with residents, you helped make the Fair a meaningful opportunity for members of our community to learn more about the many programs, services, organizations, and resources available to them.

Our goal was to bring legislators, local organizations, school groups, community services, and residents together in one convenient and welcoming space. Your participation made that possible. We especially appreciate everyone who helped spread the word about the Fair and encouraged members of your own organizations and communities to attend.

We are also very grateful to everyone from the community including families, children, school administrators and Board members, and residents who came out to participate in all the activities.

Thank you as well to those who contributed to our special programming, including Legislators Goetz, Deriggi Whitton and Lavine for Legislator Storytime, Community Service Crafts with NOSH Food Pantry and the North Shore Key Club, and North Shore CASA’s Narcan Training. These activities helped make the evening engaging and useful for community members of all ages.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Gold Coast Public Library for hosting the Community Fair and for helping us create such a welcoming space for our community. We are especially grateful to Mike Morea and Clare Trollo for their support, assistance, and partnership in making the event possible.

Most importantly, thank you for being a partner in strengthening connections throughout the North Shore community. We hope the relationships and conversations that began at the Fair will continue well beyond the event.

We truly appreciate everyone’s participation and support. We look forward to working with and seeing everyone again in the future.
