Celebrating 100 Years of Glen Head School

On June 23, 2026, to commemorate its 100-year anniversary, Glen Head School Principal Thomas Sheehan, students, faculty and staff went outside onto the field behind Glen Head School to form a human 100!

Principal Sheehan said, “Today, our students and staff came together to form the number 100 in honor of this incredible milestone. Thank you to North Shore student, Cameron Ramirez, for capturing this special moment on drone video and photos! The original section of Glen Head School was built in 1926. Additions were added to the building in 1951, 1994, and 2000. It served as a primary school prior to the 1953 centralization that formed the North Shore Central School District. Glen Head School is one of three K-5 elementary schools in the district.
