During the last week of October, the Halloween SPOOKTACULAR gymnasiums at all three North Shore elementary schools were designed to engage our students in a fun and enjoyable learning environment. Districtwide K-5 students had the opportunity to participate in some of their favorite physical activities including: pumpkin bowling, skull throwing, rope swinging over a snake or bone pit, scooter riding through a fictitious haunted house, and spooky rock climbing! Just to name a few!
The SPOOKTACULAR focuses on a variety of skills where students can enhance their problem solving abilities, collaborate with peers, practice athletic skills, communicate to friends, think about the various spooky challenges, and increase their level of performance. Thank you to all of the physical education teachers at the North Shore School District for engaging our students in such a fun, spooky, andphysically challenging learning experience!
