2018 Summer Reading - English 9R

The North Shore High School English 9R teachers are pleased to present your 2018 Summer Reading!

You have three award-winning books to choose from: a lyrical coming-of-age novel, a classic epic fantasy and a non-fiction historical thriller. Check them out on the accompanying book sheet.

While most students prefer purchasing their books, copies will be available at the NSMS, the NSHS, and both the Sea Cliff and the Gold Coast Public Libraries.  The books are also available in eBook and audiobook formats from Amazon, Audible, Barnes & Noble and the iBooks Store.

The assignment below is mandatory and will be graded as a formal first quarter assessment at
the end of September using the rubric on the next page.
