Middle School 6th Graders Learn What It Means To Be An Entrepreneur In The 21st Century

In Mr. Dahill’s sixth grade classrooms during first quarter, students are learning how to develop an "entrepreneurial mindset" and how to create a business plan.  Mr. Dahill said, “We focused on how Entrepreneurs come up with their inspiration to solve everyday problems when it comes to marketing a product or service.”

His students crafted their own detailed business plans and then were tasked with converting their original ideas into short 5-minute pitches. Mr. Dahill continued, “My students have all done an incredible job preparing business plans and their final presentations to some local entrepreneurs. The winners of the Entrepreneurship pitch presentations will be awarded with a $100 Amazon Gift Card generously provided by the North Shore Middle School PTSO.”
